RANDY HOUSER IS COMING TO COEUR D’ALENE

The North Idaho State Fair announces country music headliner for the

2018 Opening Day “Party in the Dirt” Concert.

COEUR D’ALENE, ID – We’re goin’ out with our boots on! Party in the dirt at the North Idaho State Fair on August 22, 2018. This year’s opening day concert is BIG! The Findlay Arena will host, multi-hit maker, Randy Houser with opening performance by the James Barker Band.

With an inimitable voice the New York Times describes as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over,” Randy Houser racked up five consecutive country radio hits and over five million singles sales after shifting record labels to Stoney Creek Records. He topped the charts with “How Country Feels”, “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight”, “Goodnight Kiss”, “We Went”, and earned critical acclaim for his powerful delivery of the Top 5 smash and SMA Song of the Year-nominated “Like A Cowboy”. You will recognize other popular songs of Houser’s like “Boots On”, “Whistlin’ Dixie”, “Anything Goes”, and “Whiskeysippi River”.

The James Barker Band’s first single, “Lawn Chair Lazy,” spent two weeks at #1 on the CMT Canada’s Chevy Top 20 Countdown. The band's follow-up single, “Just Sayin’,” received mass praise from the industry and fans and just like the first, went Top 10 at country radio. The third, single “Chills” released on March 3 also received a #1 from CMT Chevy Top 20 Countdown, but also a #1 on country radio, making them the first band to have a number one at radio off a debut album. The boys have played shows with the likes of Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne, Kip Moore, Jon Pardi, Dean Brody, High Valley, Tim Hicks and more.

Tickets for the Party in the Dirt concert will go on sale May 1st, with the first chance to purchase being offered to the Fair’s email club. Tickets will be available to the public on May 2nd. You can sign up for the email club at www.nisfair.fun. Tickets, which will range from $15-$45, can be purchased online or at the Fairgrounds Office and will include general admission to the Fair.

The concert will kick off at 6:30pm. Don’t miss a great summer night at the North Idaho State Fair, get your tickets early!
